CYLINDRICAL DOWEL PINS are used either to retain parts in a fix position or to preserve alignment.
CYLINDRICAL DOWEL PINS are MANUFACTURED as per IS : 2393
TYPE A, B, C and D is recommended for un-hardened pins.
TYPE E is as per IS : 6689 recommended for hardened pins.

A GROOVED PIN is Cylindrical Pin with three equal spaced Grooves. They are rolled or pressed into the pin stock outward within controlled standard limits. When required and no remaining is needed. GROOVED PINS are resistant to loosening from shock and vibration and may be reused without appreciably reducing their holding force.

Spirol Dowel Pins are manufactured from suitable grade of High Carbon Spring Steel material as per
DIN -7343 -7344 standards. These are available in sizes from 2 mm X 6 mm length to 16 mm X 100mm length.

Spring Dowel Pins are manufactured from suitable grade of High Carbon Spring Steel material as per DIN - 1481 or IS - 5988 standards. These are available in sizes from 1.5mm X 8 mm length to 12 mm X 70 mm length.
Spring Dowel Pins (Sleeves) are available in light or heavy Types.

The External and Internal threaded Taper Pins are made & supplied in soft condition. They are manufactured as per IS : 3524 of 1966 and DIN 7978 of 1963.They also could be manufactured to DIN 7977, DIN 258 or to customers specifications. The standard Taper is 1:50.
